Registration Now Open for 33rd Freihofer's Run for Women on June 4th in Albany, NY

ALBANY, NY (January 19, 2011) — Just as the early bird catches the worm, initial entrants into the 33rd annual Freihofer's Run for Women can reap the benefits by getting a jump-start on the competition.

In anticipation of a record field, race officials for the prestigious all-female road race — the only 5K in the world to hold a "silver" label designation from the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) — have started accepting registrations for the event, which is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 4th in downtown Albany, NY. The first 500 registrants will be entered to win an Apple iPod Touch. Additional high-end giveaways are slated to come in the months leading up to the race. The earlier participants register, the more items they have the opportunity to win.
