If you represent a non-profit agency, and would like to participate this year, please print and submit the registration form (PDF).

The Course
The course consists of a three mile loop that begins on Madison Avenue at the Plaza and then circles around Lincoln Park. Participants can walk from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. You are encouraged to walk at your own pace and walk as many loops as you feel comfortable completing within the given time frame. A brisk pace would be 15 minutes per mile, while a more casual pace might be 20 minutes per mile. Wear appropriate attire as this event will be held rain or shine.
Check In
All walkers must check in at the Community Walk registration area on the Plaza. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. on walk day.
Walkers who have pre-registered and collected donations for a Non Profit Group must check-in with that group's coordinator at the tables set up on the Plaza to receive a bib number. Walkers who are not pre-registered but have raised donations may register the day of the walk with the non profit organization of their choice.
Fitness walkers are required to check-in at the Walk Administration tent, to receive their bib number.
Parking
Parking will be at the East Garage on the corner of Eagle Street and Madison Avenue. Access from I-787 is via the Plaza Exit, then follow the signs to East Garage Parking, or from the Madison Ave Exit, take a right onto Eagle St, enter garage on right. Additional parking in the Empire State Plaza V Lot is $2.00/vehicle. Photo ID is required.
Non-profit Donation Collection
Walkers are encouraged to walk for one of the registered non-profit organizations. Walkers may print out a sponsor sheet from this web site but should contact their chosen non-profit organization for additional sponsor information. All donations collected should be payable directly to the Non-Profit Organization. Last year, the groups participating in the Freihofer's Community Walk raised approximately $50,000. We appreciate your support in this effort.
